Unexpected Couture Returns to the Runway.
"Philias & Phobias"
April 6, 2024 | 7:00 p.m.
On April 6, 2024, more than 250 students will present unconventional fashion designs themed around "Philias and Phobias" to a sold out crowd. By the night of the big show, our student teams will have selected a word that functions as a prefix to both theme concepts (e.g. technophilia/technophobia or bibliophilia/bibliophobia) and spent weeks giving life to form as they prepare to walk the runway.
2024 Runway Judges
- Katherine Frank, Chancellor, University of Wisconsin-Stout
- Steve Marsh, Senior Writer, Mpls. St. Paul Magazine
- Molly Uravitch, Assistant Professor of Art, Augustana University (Sioux Falls, SD)
