Advice for a new student:
Up to 80% of first year admitted students are uncertain about what they want to major in, even those students who have declared majors. Therefore, it is okay to not know what you want to do. You are NOT alone.
College Major/Minor:
I majored in Human Development and Family Studies
Why did you choose your major?
Through my volunteer experiences many chapters ago, I knew I wanted to help people. I was uncertain on what specific area in the helping profession, but after researching the HDFS program and recommendations from a few individuals, it helped me choose this specific area of study.
