Terry Donovan is the Director of Education at the University of Wisconsin-Stout Vocational Rehabilitation Institute (SVRI). In that role, he provides leadership and administrative support for continuing professional education services, career advancement and specialized education services, and vocational rehabilitation agency consulting and technical assistance services, while also coordinating the National Training Center for Transformational Leadership partnership with UMass-Boston and the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification.
Terry brings a wide range of experience to SVRI, including 6 years with the State of Minnesota Vocational Rehabilitation Services agency, 16 years as an independent organizational development consultant, 8 years in county government, 6 years in city government, and 15 years as a partner in a small business producing personal assessment tools. He holds a Master of Science degree in Management from St. Mary’s University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and History from Middlebury College. Terry served as a Volunteer in Service to America (VISTA) in criminal justice reform after college.
