Blue Devil Rec Connect with Stout Adventures is an adventure-based program designed specifically for first-year students. It is a great way to meet like-minded folks before your student starts their first semester at UW-Stout.
From Thursday, August 29, to Saturday, August 31, we'll spend time exploring the Menomonie area through various activities and day trips, with campus as our home base.
Registration is open. Activities will include:
- Outdoor Challenge Course
- Indoor Climbing Wall
- Canoeing and Kayaking
- Paddle Boarding
- Hiking
- Beach Day
- Yard Games and Picnics
The cost is $290 and includes trip leaders, transportation, meals, activities and all necessary equipment.

We also offer a variety of clinics and outdoor trips for students, ranging from afternoon, day and weekend trips to seven-day spring break trips. Stout Adventures has adventure opportunities for all students.
