The animation concentration at University of Wisconsin-Stout has been ranked nationally.

Animation Career Review, a leading source of information for “aspiring animation, design and gaming professionals,” according to its website, recently included UW-Stout’s program in three lists:

The rankings considered schools with programs in game design, in which students also learn animation skills. UW-Stout has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in game design and development and a Bachelor of Science in computer science-game design.

According to Animation Career Review, UW-Stout’s programs prepare “students to enter the industry immediately or to enroll in an MFA program. Graduates will be prepared to pursue roles in the academic community and as design professionals and leaders.”

Earlier this year, the university’s game design programs were ranked 24th in the U.S. by Princeton Review, and the Master of Fine Arts in design program, with a game design concentration, was 18th.
