Cooperative Education & Internship Program

This program gives you the opportunity to gain meaningful work experience before graduating! It is designed to springboard Blue Devils into their professional careers through experiential learning. Learn more.

Career Conference

Join us in-person for events during Career Conference Week each fall and spring. 300+ employers attend each semester recruiting students and alumni for co-ops, internships, and professional positions. We encourage students at all levels to attend - even as early as freshman year - to start building their network. Learn more.

Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP)

This recruitment and referral program connects federal and private-sector employers nationwide with highly motivated college students and recent graduates with disabilities who are eager to demonstrate their abilities in the workplace through summer or permanent jobs. Learn more.

Job Shadow Program

This program pairs Blue Devils with employers to get an insider’s view and experience a day in the life of a professional working in a career field of interest. It's a great opportunity for freshmen, sophomores, or any students who are unsure of what direction to go along their career path!  Learn more.

Utilizing a high tech and high touch approach we provide the following resources:

Blaze's Professional Closet

Blaze’s Professional Closet is a free resource for UW-Stout students, offering professional attire for interviews, conferences, and more. Located in the Career Services Office (103 Admin. Building), the closet is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. No appointment is needed—students can drop by anytime to browse.

If you have gently used professional clothing that you no longer need, consider donating it! 

  • Must be modern and/or purchased within the last 5-6 years and clean
  • Basic colors preferred (black, white, brown, gray, navy, light or simple patterns)
  • All sizes and brands are welcome
  • No stains, rips, missing buttons, broken zippers, etc.

Any items not accepted will be donated to a local off-campus charity. Donations are accepted Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM in the Career Services Office, 103 Administration Building.

Career Outcomes
