School of Art & Design Senior Show

Capstone projects by nearly 120 graduating seniors will be on display throughout the Applied Arts building and Micheels Hall.

Welcomes all to our Senior Exhibition Night

On Friday, May 5, 2023, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. mostly graduating seniors will display and exhibit their art, designs, ideas, and glory throughout the Applied Arts building and Micheels Hall.

On-Campus Exhibits

There will be art and design work displayed throughout the Applied Arts and Micheels Hall.  There will also be art in all three floors of Applied Arts.

Video Production and Animation

Work will premiere with the capstone creators at 6:00 p.m. in Applied Arts 210 on the biggest screen on campus! Capstone work from B.S. Video Production and B.F.A. Animation and Digital Media students will be featured. Screening will loop throughout the evening.

Graphic Design and Interactive Media

In Applied Arts room 221E, senior Graphic Design majors will be presenting their projects based on the capstone course.

Industrial Design

In Applied Arts rooms 216 and 217, senior Industrial Design majors will be presenting their projects based on the Industrial Design capstone course, as well as exhibiting work from furniture design class.

Interior Design

The Interior Design Senior Show will be in room 220 and a lighting design show will be in 219.

Studio Art

In Applied Arts Gallery 209 is the Studio Art Exhibition. This show is based on a wide variety of media within the Studio Art program from comics to sculpture to photography.

Furlong Gallery

Furlong Gallery will be hosting the end of year juried student show as well as the Student Artist in Residence Exhibition.

Metals, Comics, Ceramics, Sculpture, Printmaking and Photography Exhibitions

Various exhibitions and sales by students will be found throughout the building, and a map for these activities will be provided upon entry into the building.

Game Design

The Game Design Senior Show will be in Micheels 184, with the opportunity to play senior capstone videogames.
