The Math Teaching & Learning Center is where UW-Stout students learn basic math skills in a student-centered, technology-enhanced environment. Specially trained staff and peer teaching assistants promote active, independent learning and the understanding of basic mathematical concepts. Our goal is to build a stronger mathematical foundation for the subsequent course(s) while reinforcing study habits and problem-solving skills.
