Community/Technology Workshop: Interactive Splash Photography & Video Production Studio Tour

Student performs splash photography and video production


Capture stunning splash photography using specialized lighting to freeze liquids in motion. Then head to our advanced video/photo editing lab to refine your shots in Adobe Photoshop, guided by our expert instructors. When you're done, you'll have an edited high-resolution photo perfect for printing. 

Afterward, experience UW-Stout's video production studios, featuring professional cinema cameras and lighting equipment. Discover our hands-on learning approach and cutting-edge technology firsthand.

Engineering/Robotics Workshop: Foam Casting KeyChain Creation & Robotics Demo

Experience the world of manufacturing engineering processes through an applied learning experience. Observe the precision of the Yaskawa 6-Axis robotic welder in action and learn about the essential skills required to achieve high-quality robotic welds before getting a hands-on opportunity to create your own aluminum key tag through the lost foam casting process. This showcase exemplifies our commitment to applied learning and career-focused education.

Art/Design Workshop: Design and Print Your Own Custom UW-Stout T-Shirt

Student performs relief printing technique.

 

Pick a design that matches your vibe and discover the process of relief printing. Carve your design into a block, ink it up, and press it onto fabric to create your custom t-shirt. The raised parts of the block form the printed image, making your shirt truly unique.

This hands-on workshop lets you craft a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art while gaining insight into the craftsmanship and technique of relief printing.
