Guided by a Program Director, you’ll select a project management instructor from our pool of credentialed professionals who have practical experience in your chosen field.

Q: Do I sit for the PMP exam following completion of the certificate?

A: Taking the PMP exam is your option. If you opt for the PMP exam prep track, this program will prepare you for the exam by providing you with sessions with a PMP exam prep specialist instructor, a full online exam prep course, and extensive mock exams. But actually taking the PMP exam is not a requirement of the program.

Q: Is this certificate for credit or non-credit?

A: This is a non-credit, continuing education certificate worth 5.6 continuing education units. (1.0 CEU = 10 hours of training.)

Q: What do I receive upon completion of my coursework?

A: UW-Stout Continuing Education & Conferences will send you a certificate of completion noting the CEUs you’ve earned.

Q: Is full payment due when I register for the course?

A: Yes, the fee is due at the time of registration. The fee includes customized instruction and a copy of the Project Management workbook.
