photo of PattiPatti Drescher is an Occupational Therapist and Assistive Technology Specialist for the Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS).  She received her BS in Occupational Therapy from UW-Madison, a master’s degree in Assistive Technology from George Mason University, and a doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from Mary Baldwin University.  Patti has been an OT for over 30 years, working in a variety of settings and focusing on assistive technology for most of her career.  She has worked in the field of vocational rehabilitation for many years, including as a contractor in Michigan and Wisconsin, and has been with DARS for 12 years.  Patti has presented at state and national conferences on handheld technology and assistive technology.
