Group Visits to UW-Stout
Admissions Group Visits are designed for groups of 6+ students in grades 9 - 12 (ex: college access groups, organizations, clubs, or high school groups). We enjoy organizing information sessions and campus tours with prospective college students in mind. Note: If you plan to bring 5 students or less, please use our regular weekday scheduling process and register each student individually.
Please provide at least two weeks’ notice for a group visit, as it will allow us to personalize the visit based on your request.

Scheduling Process
1. Complete the Admissions Group Visit: Request Form. We will confirm your visit date and finalize an agenda. If you have any questions, contact us at groupvisits@uwstout.edu.
2. Complete the Admissions Group Visit: Youth Protection Agreement (required prior to your visit date).
3. Read the Admissions Group Visit: Guidelines & Expectations. Please read and share this information with all chaperones attending the visit.
A standard Group Visit is about 2 hours and includes:
- UW-Stout Admissions Presentation (45-60 min.)
- Campus Tour (45-60 min.)
Additional, optional programming available:
- Lunch in the Merle Price Commons: Complimentary lunch tickets are available to high school-aged group visits during the academic year (Depending on the size of your group, lunch can take 30-45 min.)
- Student Panel (additional 30 min.)
- Disability Services (additional 15 min.)
- Multicultural Student Services (additional 15 min.)
- Student Support Services (TRIO Program) (additional 15 min.)
Driving Directions:
From Interstate I-94, take Exit 41 then follow Highway 25 south into Menomonie for about three miles. Turn left onto 10th Ave. E.
Please drop students off at the skyway crosswalk between McCalmont Hall and the Vocational Rehabilitation Building. Our staff will be there to greet your group. Please call 715-232-2555 when you are 10 minutes from campus.

Parking Directions:
- Traveling by Bus? Bus parking may be available but on a case-by-case basis. You will need to confirm availability with the Group Visit Coordinator in advance of your visit or park in the Walmart parking lot on the north side of Menomonie, or find street parking off-campus.
- Traveling by Car? We have free visitor parking available for your visit. We will provide a parking code in the email with final logistics to be used at the parking kiosk upon arrival.
