Business Management Concentration

Business Management allows students to apply their mathematical and computer skills to solve problems in the business environment.

Our students are exposed to mathematics, computer science, statistics and many facets of business — management, marketing, accounting and economics. They develop the qualities that the business world is looking for in college graduates — interpersonal skills, ability to solve problems, self-motivation and good judgment. Students pursuing this concentration are interested in working in a business environment using their mathematical and computer skills to lead projects, manage departments, or start their own technical business.

Graduates may work for businesses of various types including retail companies, manufacturing firms, medical industries, computer companies, government, and consulting firms. Many students combine this major with a minor in Business Administration.
